From Tabshoura to Manara

Expanding Quality Digital Learning Across the Region.

LAL partnered with UNRWA to integrate more than 1,200 interactive learning activities into Manara, UNRWA's centralized digital learning platform, expanding access to engaging, curriculum-aligned learning for children across Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine.
Lebanese Alternative Learning

Following the successful completion of a content digitization service for UNRWA, the collaboration evolved into a new milestone.

As UNRWA educators explored Tabshoura, they recognised the quality, pedagogical value, and interactivity of its curriculum-aligned digital resources. They expressed interest in making this content available to a wider community of learners through Manara, UNRWA’s digital learning platform.

Building on this shared vision, Lebanese Alternative Learning (LAL) and UNRWA signed a partnership agreement to integrate Tabshoura content into Manara. As part of this collaboration, more than 1,200 interactive learning activities were transferred from Tabshoura, enriching the platform with engaging, high-quality educational resources.

Today, these activities support learners across Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, extending the impact of educational content originally developed by Lebanese educators and demonstrating how trusted local innovation can contribute to regional learning.

This partnership reflects LAL’s commitment to creating scalable, high-quality digital learning solutions and to collaborating with organizations that share the goal of ensuring equitable access to education for every child.

"Tabshoura is at the right level of difficulty. It is not blocking us like when an exercise is too difficult but it is also challenging because we have to think before giving an answer. When we do a mistake, the application ask us questions to redirect us to the right answer. "
