From Tabshoura to Manara

Following the successful completion of a content digitisation project for UNRWA, the collaboration with Lebanese Alternative Learning (LAL) reached a new stage.

During a review of Tabshoura, UNRWA educators were impressed by the quality, pedagogical value, and interactive nature of its curriculum-aligned digital resources. They saw an opportunity to make these resources available to more learners through Manara, UNRWA’s digital learning platform.

Based on this shared vision, LAL and UNRWA signed a partnership agreement to integrate selected Tabshoura content into Manara. Through this collaboration, more than 1,200 interactive learning activities were transferred to the platform, expanding its range of engaging and high-quality educational resources.

Today, learners in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and the Occupied Palestinian Territory benefit from these activities. The partnership has extended the reach of content developed by Lebanese educators and demonstrated how local innovation can support learning across the region.

This collaboration reflects LAL’s commitment to developing high-quality digital learning solutions and working with organisations that share the goal of ensuring every child has equitable access to education.
