Lalmoudaress program

Lalmoudaress is a professional development platform for teachers in Lebanon, developed by Lebanese Alternative Learning (LAL) in response to the evolving needs of educators.
The program was launched in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when teachers across Lebanon were required to transition to online teaching with limited preparation, tools, or support. In response to this challenge, Lebanese Alternative Learning created Lalmoudaress as a practical space to support teachers in adapting their teaching practices to online and blended environments.
From the beginning, Lalmoudaress brought together teachers from different regions and educational contexts in Lebanon. These educators participated in training focused on teaching methodologies, digital tools, and online learning practices. Following the training, teachers developed contextualized educational resources based on their classroom realities. These resources were reviewed, organized, and made available on the Lalmoudaress platform to support other teachers facing similar challenges.
As the platform developed, Lalmoudaress expanded to include a broader range of professional development courses, covering areas such as blended learning, self-directed learning, and digital pedagogy. It also hosts IFERB resources developed by Education Above All, making them accessible to teachers in Lebanon. In addition, Lalmoudaress serves as a central space for teacher guides related to the Tabshoura programs, supporting educators in implementing these initiatives.
Beyond its training and resources, Lalmoudaress supports a community of educators who share experiences, exchange practices, and contribute to the improvement of teaching and learning. Through this community, Lebanese Alternative Learning seeks to highlight teachers’ work and expertise and create opportunities for collaboration and professional growth.
Today, Lalmoudaress continues to grow as a practical and accessible platform that supports teachers’ professional development and responds to the realities of education in Lebanon.
