Our team made up of Patrick Habib and Andrea Fahed pitched the EdTech solution Tabshoura Tiny Thinkers in a Box at MIT Solve in New York on the 22nd of September!

MIT Solve is an MIT Initiative that fosters tech companies looking to pilot, scale and implement their tech solutions for leading societal issues. The Solve 2019 Global Challenges were centered around finding solutions from tech innovators across the world in the categories of Circular Economy, Community-Driven Innovation, Early Childhood Development and Healthy Cities.

This year, 61 finalists were selected to pitch their solutions to a panel of expert judges and a live audience made up of the Solve community. We’re proud to say that our team at Tabshoura Tiny Thinkers in a Box is one of them!

Tabshoura Tiny Thinkers in a Box is a low-cost, pocket-size offline server which provides a tailored digital augmented program for ECE, in Arabic and English. Its purpose is to provide education adapted to the needs of vulnerable communities which might otherwise not have access to sufficient, if any, education.

On the 22nd of September in Apella, New York City, Andrea Fahed, Education Officer at Tabshoura, pitched Tabshoura’s solution to providing vulnerable children in marginalized communities the necessary education. After the pitch event, 35 teams were selected to become Solver teams and “work with Solve for the next year to scale their solutions with the support of funding, networking, mentorship, marketing and more”.
