Bridg-e to Middle School Project

Bridge to Middle School is funded by BMZ (the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany) in collaboration with GIZ, (a German development agency that provides services in the field of international development cooperation).

For this project, we designed and developed a support program for Grade 6. Indeed, Grade 6 is a foundation year where all concepts learned in primary school must be consolidated in order to allow a smooth transition to the next level. Consequently, we created a bridge and supported students in their transition from elementary to middle school.

To do this, we strengthened their learnings, autonomy, and analytical thinking. In fact, LAL developed, translated, edited, and published 97 units comprised of different subjects for a period of 6 months. Examples of these subjcts are as follows: mathematics, science, Arabic, French, English, and geography. The content is available on Tabshoura.com, LAL’s free e-learning platform.
