Du bac à la scène” is a theatrical performance created by senior class from schools across Beirut. All proceeds of this event went to support the Lebanese Alternative Learning (LAL) project, Tabshoura, a non-profit platform providing free, accessible & trilingual e-learning tools based on the Lebanese educational curriculum. It is dedicated to students at risk of dropping out.

Also participating to support Tabshoura and Lebanese Alternative Learning are director Joe Kodeih, journalist Médéa Azouri and musician Ramy Tibi.

“Our idea is that the financing of this e-learning site be supported by young people, for young people. We encourage young talents and artistic activities to be undertaken for the benefit of providing education for others,” says Nayla Zreik Fahed, founder and president of Lebanese Alternative Learning, LAL.

LAL collaborates with educational associations by proposing and implementing cultural and educational activities that help to develop a sense of social engagement among the youth. LAL overcomes socio-economic barriers and cultural difference to create a positive impact. It allows participating schools and students to work together and to invest their talents for the greater good, enabling the development and provision of e-learning for underprivileged children and youth across the country.
